Discover Benalup-Casas Viejas
Benalup-Casas Viejas is a typical Andalusian village located in the province of Cádiz, the natural gateway to the Natural Oak Park. It is a small and peaceful village where you can find everything you desire.
The villas are situated to the west of the village. It takes less than 5 minutes by car or about 15-20 minutes on foot to reach the center of Benalup, supermarkets, bars, or restaurants.
With just over 7,000 inhabitants, it is a small town with a great love for its local festivities, which are celebrated in the streets. The most famous ones include the Carnivals, Holy Week, and the Independence Festival in March, better known as "Las Vaquillas". During this festival, which commemorates the separation of the town from Medina Sidonia, young bulls are released into the streets of the town center for the bravest to perform daring dodges or run in front of them, similar to a small-scale San Fermín.
Interesting places such as Cádiz and Jerez (Sherry Wineries, Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art) are nearby, as well as the white villages of Vejer de La Frontera, Medina Sidonia, and Alcalá de los Gazules, which are just 15 minutes away.
We are in the heart of the province of Cádiz on the Costa de la Luz, making it a perfect location for those who want to go to the beach while also enjoying nature.
The province is famous for its white sandy beaches on the Costa de la Luz, numerous golf courses, excellent gastronomy, and around 300 days of sunshine per year.
